Quill Gen 2 Gel-Jet Controller UPDATE program

Sale price$0.00

This needed update adds an allowance for the location of the piston in the cartridge. As it moves further away from the striking mechanism during resin consumption, the new software compensates for the extra time it takes the striking mechanism to leave its resting place until the time it hits the piston, generating the shockwave that’s required for the resin to leave the nozzle. As the piston goes down and the resin gets consumed, the time of flight needs to be compensated for. The new software does that and more. The new software will ask for a cartridge level when you insert it. If it’s a full cartridge, you’ll just hit a button saying so. But if the cartridge is partially used, you’ll just measure it with your air gap tool, determine what it is roughly at, and tell the Quill the approximate level. From that point on, the Quill will keep track of the resin use and adjust itself accordingly.
